"I bought this after the long hunt for a singular product that would define curls, moisturize, keep my hair soft (not crunchy), and manage frizz-- I am not disappointed! I use it after the PrX line, and I no longer need 2-5 products to be happy with my hair! I like that I can use it whether I want my hair to stay curly or to straighten it. The smell is not my favorite (I prefer the protein line's), but it's definitely something I can ignore for the benefits I get! I think it's nice in both dry and humid regions (I've used it in both, between Memphis, Dallas, and New Orleans), and I like that when it's humid my hair doesn't start getting frizzy. If I ever want to touch up a singular curl, I can add some water and re-twirl it with my finger. BTW: my curl pattern ranges from 3b-4b and I have low porosity hair."
"This is an excellent leave-in moisturizer. A little goes a long way, and it is not sticky. I use it after Tech Color Care shampoo and 3 Min Cond Mask. All three products used together may be the most moisturizing experience I have ever had in hair care. You will not regret buying this product."
"I have curly/wavy hair. One thing I've learned with curly hair is that everyone is different. What is 5 stars for me, might not work for the next person.
The trick with this essential shea is to use the amount suggested. A size of a quarter. My hair is a few inches below my shoulder. Too much weighs it down. The right amount makes it soft, curly and manageable. Luxurious is the correct term. Love the smell.
I have searched for years for a product to love as much as this essential shea and hope that Fekkai doesn't ever discontinue."
